Springbrook Software Releases Code & Contact Management Module

Portland, Oregon – Springbrook Software, Inc., a leading provider of fully integrated enterprise software solutions for local government, announces the release of the Code & Contact Management module.

The Code & Contact Management module, available to clients on version 6.05, is designed to provide a central interface for tracking all citizen correspondence and can be used to create, track and report on issues related to lots and customer accounts. The module is issue-based and information stored in an issue is adaptable; this flexibility allows the module to track a variety of events. For example, it can be used to track code enforcement issues such as overgrown lawns, excessive yard debris, abandoned vehicles, building permit violations or improper signage. Features of the module include:

  • Data availability – Data in the centralized customer and lot information is a click away.

  • Integration – Code & Contact Management interfaces with the Accounts Receivable, Utility Billing and Work Order modules. Accounts receivable invoices, utility billing service requests and work order estimates can all be initiated from within the module.

  • User-definable queues/email notification – Users may assign issue steps to specific users; email can be used to notify users that an issue has been assigned to them or that an issue needs their attention, review or comments.

  • Microsoft Word Integration – Users can create forms easily with Microsoft Word and attach them to issues as needed.

  • Attachment capabilities – Users can attach, preview, print or scan any type of document, photo or file relating to an issue.

  • Excellent reporting capabilities – Issue, status and resolution type are all user-definable, this allows users to customize the module for reporting purposes. The Query By Example reporting tool is also available.

  • Comprehensive audit trail – All changes made to an issue become part of the issue’s permanent record.
